Stefano Ciampolini speaks about ‘Routes to Growth’ in interview for the London Stock Exchange ELITE Programme

11th December, 2018

Stefano Ciampolini, Renal Services CEO, was invited by the London Stock Exchange ELITE Programme to give an interview about the company’s journey and routes to growth. The evening was in celebration of the ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ report, in which Renal Services was featured for the third consecutive year.

The CEO spoke about how he started Renal Services 11 years ago with a disruptive business model where his vision was to offer patients a comfortable and holistic environment to be treated in.

Today, Renal Services operates 14 clinics in the UK plus three under development opening in 2019 treating nearly 1000 patients between local Trusts’ patients and from abroad.

Stefano Ciampolini recognised that being part of the London Stock Exchange ELITE Programme and having BGF as an investor in the company played an important role for the business growth through the support, funding and advice received in the past 4 years.

“You get to know other entrepreneurs and business people that are going through the same journey, yet with different approaches so it becomes a learning experience for all”, he concluded.

During the interview, Stefano also spoke about Renal Services’ talented staff, and how the company still follows a family-run business approach in which training and development is at its core.

“Although the number of clinics and staff has significantly increased since 2007, we still run the business with the same approach of ‘Grow Our Own’ staff. We like to attract talent and provide the necessary training to develop renal specialists from the inside.”, explained Stefano.

Around 100 people from different companies and industries joined the interview at the London Stock Exchange on the 5th December.
